TGMC Announces New Vice President of Ancillary Services

Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) is pleased to announce Mike Muntz as the new Vice President of Ancillary Services.

Muntz holds an Associate of Science degree from Delgado College in New Orleans, LA and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.  He is also working towards an Executive Masters in Business Administration at Nicholls State University.

Muntz began his healthcare career at East Jefferson General Hospital in 1980 and progressed through a variety of imaging positions, gaining increased responsibility and experience in healthcare and further developing his leadership skills.  In 1990, Mike worked for Memorial Medical Center – Tenet Healthcare Corporation in New Orleans, where he was the Director of multiple departments and free standing Imaging Centers. In that role, he gained significant experience by implementing many imaging projects, advanced imaging technology, and radiology information systems. Muntz joined TGMC in January 2006, and has served as the Director of Radiology and Special Imaging, Cardio-Respiratory Care, Neuro-Diagnostic Services and Patient Transportation for the past 10 years. He has brought advanced technology to TGMC with the recent addition of the new GE Optima MR450w 1.5T MRI and Caring MR Suite to the imaging department.
