TGMC Appoints Emergency Medicine Physicians


Adam Arcement, MD and Michael O’Neal, MD have joined the active medical staff at Terrebonne General Medical Center’s (TGMC) state-of-the-art Emergency Department.

Adam Arcement, MD earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his residency at University of Florida Health Sciences Center and is board certified by theAmerican Board of Emergency Medicine.

Michael O’Neal, MD received his doctorate of medicine at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Louisiana State University’s Charity Trauma Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

TheTGMC prestigious medical staff consists of over 300 physicians and medical specialists offering a variety of expertise from family practice to orld-renowned cardiovascular surgery. Dr. Arcement and Dr. O’Neal will be joining TGMC’s innovative Level II Emergency Department. Each year, more than 36,000 people receive advanced emergency care at TGMC. It is staffed 24-hours by board certified emergency medicine physicians and highly trained emergency department nurses, who are the first line of treatment for sudden illness or injuries.
