Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC), award winning and nationally recognized medical center, is pleased to announce Stan Gravois as the new director of the comprehensive Healthy Lifestyles Center.
Gravois will be responsible for overseeing the Healthy Lifestyles Center’s health and wellness programs offered by TGMC. Community Sports Institute, Wellness for Life and Sports Performance Training Center are all offered through this innovative and state-of-the-art center along with other healthy lifestyle initiatives. The Healthy Lifestyles Center proudly partners with our community to provide education on health, wellness, and preventative care.

Gravois worked for Terrebonne Parish School System as a teacher and coach for 30 years and is a lifetime member of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association. In 2007 he joined HTV as the weeknight sports anchor and Host of Friday Night Sports. Gravois became the director of the TGMC Community Sports Institute program at TGMC in 2014. Since its inception, Community Sports Institute has had a huge impact on our community, partnering with six school systems and the Terrebonne Parish Recreation District. TGMC Community Sports Institute has reached over 23,000 students, and 150 coaches and faculty members with numerous training sessions. In 2014 Community Sports Institute athletic trainers we represent at over 900 events including high school sports games, community run/walks,soccer tournaments, summer swampland league, summer weight room sessions, and educational and CPR seminars. The program has also provided concussion testing for over 1,300 student athletes in the Terrebonne Parish school system.The latest addition to the Healthy Lifestyles Center, the Sports Performance Training Center is now offering a progressive performance center for clients 12 to 82 and provides individual attention. Workouts are geared to each individual and focus on performing a variety of aerobic and strength exercises. Individual performance is tracked to measure progress.
