Robert Alexander, MD, Named Recipient of TGMC Golden Stethoscope Award

Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) announced Robert Alexander, MD, as the recipient of the Golden Stethoscope Award.

The prestigious Golden Stethoscope Award is designed to publicly recognize a TGMC physician for his or her exceptional level of professionalism, integrity and teamwork in caring for patients and families, as well as interacting with hospital staff members and other physicians. The program asks for nominations from physicians, employees, patients, and volunteers, and recognizes two physicians a year.

“It is an honor and a privilege to announce Dr. Robert Alexander as a recipient of the Golden Stethoscope Award. For over 38 years, he has been an outstanding member of our physician staff and continues to provide outstanding, compassionate care to our patients,” said Phyllis Peoples, president and CEO. “Dr. Alexander’s wisdom and dedication has truly made him an amazing physician on our team and very deserving of this honor.”

Dr. Alexander is described by his peers as caring, compassionate, and humble. He is always available to his patients and puts their needs first.
