The Foundation for Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) received an $8,800.00 donation from the Cooper Life Fund to benefit patients of the TGMC Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Over the past 10 years, the Cooper Life Fund has raised over $133,000.00 through the “Super Cooper 5K” races in Houma to benefit the TGMC NICU. The funds provide families with a care bag filled with necessities in caring for NICU infants, gas cards, phone cards, car seats, strollers, lodging vouchers, rocking chairs for the NICU, and other items the families have not prepared for while their baby is in intensive care.
