TGMC’s Steps To Success Program Receives Entergy Grant

Steps To Success at Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) is one of five organizations in Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes to receive a Community Partnership Grant from Entergy Louisiana, LLC.
Steps to Success at TGMC plans to fund its Realityworks Teen Pregnancy Prevention program. The program provides participants the opportunity to experience a parenting simulation using computer-simulated dolls that require 24-hour care.
Entergy donated a total of almost $5000 to five organizations. These five organizations were honored for their work in local communities at an awards lunch, where they were presented with their grant check by Entergy officials. Each organization was eligible for a grant of up to $1000.
The five winners include Steps to Success at Terrebonne General Medical Center, The Lafourche Parish Council Office of Community Action, The Lockport Police Department, Evergreen Junior High School and The Readers are Leaders program at Lisa Park Elementary School.
