TGMC Releases New Website
Date released: 8/11/2008
Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) is pleased to announce the re-design of their website, TGMC.com. The new website boasts a rich, state of the art design, and an array of new features that include: a new user-friendly layout, an intuitive website search engine, redesigned online nursery and up to date health information.
“The most noticeable enhancement to TGMC.com is its new design,” said Brandon Holiday, Web Designer. Consistent with our “It all begins here” marketing campaign, the new website shares the same visual theme found on our billboards and newspaper advertisements.
The website’s new search engine makes finding things on TGMC.com easier than ever. The search engine takes advantage of Google’s innovative search algorithm, indexing each page of the website so that the best possible search results can be returned. Users can search for specific topics, publications, and upcoming events.
TGMC also uses Our365 to provide an online nursery which has also been re-designed to feature a theme that imparts the happiness associated with having a baby and some unique animation. The online nursery program allows new parents to choose from a wide variety of creative photos, announcements and birth related products and family and friends can see the new baby after being provided a secure and private access code by the parents. While viewing the baby, parents can display a greeting to visitors and visitors can offer their written congratulations.
The new website also hosts a free service that allows family and friends to send a personal message to patients while they are in the hospital. The message will be printed and delivered directly to the patient room.
TGMC is committed to providing our patients with the best health care possible. With this goal in mind, TGMC.com now includes up-to-date health topics, precise drug and supplement information, and late-breaking health news from around the world. Holiday added, “These enhancements will allow TGMC.com to become not simply a hospital website, but a health resource that does well in keeping the community well informed.”
