Enjoy fall temperatures, great food, live entertainment, and a breathtaking view of downtown Houma at the 5th Annual Rooftop Roundup. The Foundation for Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) will host its signature event on Thursday, October 6th on the rooftop of the TGMC parking garage.
This annual event benefiting The Foundation offers a casual atmosphere featuring a delicious meal from Big Mike’s BBQ, a bird’s eye view of downtown Houma, and live music by Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Revue. The Rooftop Roundup will begin at 5:30 pm and continue until 8:30 pm. The event is open to the public and the community is invited to attend.
“We are excited to celebrate the 5th anniversary of this unique fundraising event,” explains Michael Bergeron, Board Chairman of the Foundation for TGMC. “This event has raised over $100,000 which allows the Foundation to continue to provide funding to important TGMC programs that benefit the wellbeing of our community.”
Proceeds from the event will go to The Foundation for TGMC to support our community through various health and wellness related initiatives at TGMC. The Foundation for TGMC funds programs such as TGMC’s Community Sports Institute, Diabetes Management, Weight Management, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and the Sudden Impact Program in addition to others. TGMC’s Community Sports Institute and Sudden Impact are programs that directly educate Terrebonne parish students to lead a safe, healthy life.
Individual tickets are only $40 and can be purchased in the TGMC Gift Shop or online at www.tgmc.com. The event is open to the public and tickets are on sale now. If there is inclement weather the event will be held under the covered third floor of the parking garage.
