Terrebonne General Medical Center’s (TGMC) Blood Donor Center is participating in the 6th Annual Ron Brooks Louisiana State University (LSU) versus The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) Blood Drive Challenge.
Rob Brooks, an avid Ole Miss fan, is challenging our community to donate blood to the TGMC Blood Donor Center. If at least 625 LSU fans donate blood from September 8th until the LSU versus Ole Miss football game on November 17th, Ron Brooks will donate $1000 to the Tiger Athletic Fund (TAF) and each donors name will be entered into a drawing for a football signed by the legendary Manning family!
Blood donations are a crucial part of the saving lives within our community. Someone needs blood every two seconds and you can help solve this problem by making a blood donation. It will take about 40 minutes and you would be giving the gift of life to someone in need. One pint could save up to three lives. All blood donations given at the TGMC Blood Donor Center are used here at TGMC for our patients and our community that are in need of blood.
If you are interested in donating blood and interested in participating in the Ron Brooks Blood Drive Challenge, and are at least 17 years old and 110 lbs, please call the TGMC Blood Donor Center at 985-873-4025 or come by the Blood Donor Center located in TGMC’s Medical Annex Building behind the hospital on Belanger Street (across from the parking garage).
