Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) is proud to welcome five new physicians to our esteemed medical staff furthering innovative healthcare in the community.
Dr. Amit N. Amin, Interventional Cardiologist: Dr. Amin will practice at Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS). He received his medical doctorate from the University Of Sint Eustatius School Of Medicine and completed Cardiology fellowships at LSU Health Sciences Center and most recently, at CIS-Houma in an Advanced Peripheral Fellowship under Dr. Craig Walker.
Dr. Adam Arceneaux, Internal Medicine: Dr. Arceneaux joins the Internal Medicine Group with Dr. Alain Chesnut and Dr. Craig Wade. He earned his medical doctorate at Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center in Houma. Originally from St. James Parish, Dr. Arceneaux has enjoyed living in Houma during his residency and looks forward to joining the esteemed group at Internal Medicine Group.
Dr. Daniel Bourgeois, Radiation Oncologist: Dr. Bourgeois joins the Medical Oncology team at Mary Bird Perkins TGMC Cancer Center in the fight against cancer. Dr. Bourgeois received his medical doctorate at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his General Surgery internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA and went on to complete his Radiation Oncology residency at Roswell Park Cancer Institute – SUNY in Buffalo, NY and at the University of California – Irvine Orange and Long Beach, CA. Dr. Bourgeois, originally from New Orleans, is excited to return to his home state. Dr. Bourgeois is excited to return to his home state.
Dr. Jeffrey Rau, Plastic Surgeon: Dr. Rau, a native of Houma, will be performing plastic surgery at his new clinic, Rau Plastic Surgery. He earned his medical doctorate at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, and completed a General Surgery residency from LSU and Plastic Surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. Dr. Rau looks forward to providing specialty care in his hometown.
Dr. Jill Sutton, Pediatrics: Dr. Sutton is a Houma native and will practice at the new Pediatric Care TGMC, as the primary pediatrician. She earned her medical doctorate from LSU and completed her General Pediatrics internship and residency at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Sutton welcomes the opportunity to return home to care for the younger population.
Dr. Nathan Sutton, Family Practice: Dr. Sutton will be joining the care team at the Family Doctor Clinic in Houma. He received his medical doctorate at University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and completed his Family Medicine internship and residency at East Jefferson General Hospital and Tulane University in New Orleans. Originally from Monroe, he is looking forward to exploring Houma with his wife, Dr. Jill Sutton.
