Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) announces Sid Hutchinson as Vice President of Physician Practice Partners.
Hutchinson joined TGMC in 1980, where he began his career as a Registered Pharmacist and worked as Director of Pharmacy for 12 years. Over the past 13 years, he has served as Vice President of Clinical Ancillary Services for TGMC. His clinical background, experience and credentials as a Certified Medical Practice Executive and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives are well suited for his new position.
The new role of Vice President of Physician Practice Partners was created to assist TGMC physicians in dealing with the rapid changes in healthcare that challenge the day to day operations that affect physician practices. As the demands of regulatory changes continue to escalate and reimbursement continues to decline in healthcare, TGMC will partner with our physicians to serve as a resource to assist with transitions and in providing up to date information that is relevant for a physician practice.
“We are very excited to have Sid transition to this new role,” said Phyllis Peoples, president and CEO. “The Vice President of Physician Practice Partners role will be a wonderful asset to our physicians as TGMC continues to grow in the changing world of healthcare. We look forward to continuing to establish solid partnerships with our physicians through this position and enhancing the overall healthcare experience.”
