HOUMA - Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) announces Kerrie Redmond, RN, has been named among the 2017 Great 100 Nurses of Louisiana.
Redmond is the Director of the Women’s Health Center and her responsibilities include overseeing the operational, fiscal and clinical managerial direction of TGMC’s Labor and Delivery, Maternal Newborn, Level III NICU, and Women’s Health and Children’s units. She has been a valued staff member for over 22 years.

The Great 100 Nurses Foundation was founded in New Orleans, Louisiana 31 years ago, and since then has honored thousands of nurses across Louisiana, North Carolina, Texas and Oklahoma. Founded in 1986, the Great 100 Nurses of Louisiana Foundation recognizes outstanding nursing accomplishments and successes. The honorees are selected by their peers and patients, based on their achievements in four areas: Clinical/Community, Administration, Research and Education.
TGMC’s nursing staff has been recognized for over ten years in a row for their commitment to patient care.
