TerrebonneGeneral Medical Center (TGMC) is pleased to announce Wendy Durocher as thedirector of our state-of-the-art Department of Surgery and Sterile ProcessingDepartment.
Durocherearned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Nicholls State University andSaddleback College in Mission Viejo, Ca. in 1988 and has over 27 years ofexperience in the medical field. Of those 27, 24 have been at TGMC as ClinicalCoordinator in the Surgery Department. She is an accomplished Basic LifeSupport (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) instructor withcertification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and holds her nationalcertification in OR nursing (CNOR).
The TGMCSurgery Department provides state-of-the-art, exceptional healthcare from adedicated team of highly trained doctors, registered nurses, certifiedregistered nurse anesthetists and other healthcare professionals with patientsas the primary concern.
From gallbladder removals to kneereplacements, the TGMC surgery department uses its latest innovative facilitiesand equipment for meeting the needs of every patient.
