The 6th Annual Ladies Night Out, Cancer Fundraising Gala hosted by Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) will be on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center at 6:30 p.m.
This cancer fundraising gala will feature an inspirational and fun evening with guest speaker Wendy Couvillon, a local breast cancer survivor and Sue Peace as the emcee. The night also includes dinner, beverages, and a large display of silent auction items along with entertainment by Sharon Martin and the New Orleans All-Stars. Tickets are $40 per seat or $320 for a table of eight, and can be purchased at the TGMC Women’s Center Gift Shop or by calling 985-873-3588. More than half of the tickets have already been sold and are going fast, so get your tickets today to ensure a good seat. Tables will be assigned by the date of your ticket purchase.
The proceeds generated from the gala in conjunction with grant funds secured by Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) will be used to provide necessary care and comfort items/services for cancer patients in our community that are undergoing cancer treatment. Some of these items include durable medical equipment (chair cushions and seat belt pads), nutritional supplements, wigs, and assistance with transportation costs and household bills. Every cancer patient undergoing treatment will also receive a comfort care bag filled with essential items which will be of use to the patient while undergoing treatment.
The program is about remembering, honoring and celebrating those who have been touched by cancer. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. For more information about the 6th Annual Ladies Night Out, please call 985-873-4616.
