Terrebonne General Health System Senior VP of Clinical Services Honored as LSU Health Science Center School of Nursing Outstanding Alumnus

Terrebonne General Health System Senior Vice President of Clinical Services Teresita McNabb, RN, was honored by The LSU Health Science Center School of Nursing as an Outstanding Alumnus as part of their 90th Anniversary Celebration.

The Outstanding Alumnus Award comes as a recognition of Teresita’s colossal contribution and achievement to the nursing profession in ways that advance the occupation and improve overall healthcare for our state and community. This award values stewardship, organizational leadership, innovation, professionalism, respect, integrity, diversity, and excellence in nursing.

“I am so proud of Teresita and deeply respect her unwavering passion for Terrebonne General,” said Phyllis Peoples, President and CEO. “Teresita’s dedication to her team, focus on patient safety, and embodiment of our mission are truly commendable. We extend our congratulations to her for her well-deserved recognition as the recipient of the Outstanding Alumnus Award from LSU Health Science Center School of Nursing.”

McNabb has been with Terrebonne General Health System for over 38 years and has undoubtedly exemplified her commitment to nursing and organizational excellence. She began her career as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) staff nurse and worked her way up to her most recent role. As Senior Vice President of Clinical Services, she has driven many clinical initiatives to implementation and shown creativity and innovation to achieve high standards even amid the difficult situations that the healthcare industry presents.
