In 30 minutes you can save up to 3 peoples' lives by donating blood!
The Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) Blood Donor Center encourages you to donate blood and making a commitment to donate.
Someone needs blood every two seconds, especially in the winter months. You can help solve this problem by making blood donation a regular part of your life this year.
Blood donation is simple and the entire process usually takes less than 30 minutes. The TGMC Blood Donor Center will take you through a 4-step process to donate: medical history, quick physical, donation and a refreshment. As a thank you for giving, after donating donors can choose from a t-shirt, cd holder or free cholesterol check.
Also, ask the Blood Donor Center about options for a blood bank for you or a family member.
If you are interested in donating blood and are at least 17 years old and 110 lbs, please call the TGMC Blood Donor Center at 985-873-4025 or come by the Center located in TGMC’s Medical Annex Building behind the hospital on Belanger Street (across from the parking garage).
Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am-5:00 pm (appointments required after 4:00 pm) and Friday: 7:30 am- 3:30 pm
